Ski Pass

Save time and buy your ski pass online before arrival.

You avoid waiting in line and can go straight to the lifts.
You can refill your old keycard online before arrival.
If you don't have a keycard, you can order one online and pick it up on arrival at "Velkomstsenter".

Some waiting time must be expected at the counter.

Make sure to select the correct date and age for the passes, and that the passes are assigned to the correct user.
The age categories for ski passes at Hovden Alpine Center are 0-6 years, 7-15 years, 16-64 years, and 65+.
Please note that all ski passes are personal and cannot be transferred to others. Checks will be conducted regularly throughout the season.
*Not applicable to point passes.

Companion

Hovden Alpine Center welcome you who must bring a companion to the facility.

If you have a valid accompanying certificate, it entitles your companion to a free ski pass.
Only one-day passes are available for companions, not multi-day passes.
Both you and your companion must have a keycard. If you don't have one, it can be purchased when picking up the ski pass.
The ski passes are picked up at the "Velkomstsenter". Both you and your companion must be present when picking up the ski passes, and remember to show a valid accompanying certificate.

Tusseband (magic carpet), -free to use

If you're skiing and using a ski lift for the first time, we recommend starting on the magic carpet in "Tusseland".
The Tusseband is free to use.
As in the rest of the facility, helmets are mandatory at the magic carpet.
Sledding is allowed on the right side of the magic carpet (viewed from below).

Point card

Point passes can be purchased over the counter at the "Velkomstsenter".
You must have a keycard to load the point pass. (Price for keycard: NOK 75)
Points can only be purchased in increments of 4. It is possible to buy a minimum of 4 points and a maximum of 60 points. (Price per 4 points: NOK 135)
The price per point is the same regardless of how many points you buy.

Each lift/ride uses a different number of points per trip:

Cross country to mt. Storenos

At our facility, you can take the chairlift to reach beautiful cross-country trails at the top of mt. Storenos.

If you don't have a season pass / gold annual pass, you must buy a ski pass. The point pass is the most economical if you only plan to take one trip with the lift. It takes 4 points per person to use the lift.
You also need a keycard to load points. If you are in a group, you can use the same keycard to load the necessary number of points.
Point passes cannot be purchased online, only at the "Velkomstsenter".

By presenting your student ID, you as an active student will receive a 30% discount during weeks 2–6 on the following ski passes:

2-day pass (midweek)
3-day pass (midweek)
4-day pass (midweek)

Important Info:

The offer is valid Monday to Thursday in weeks 2–6.
Purchases are made at the counter in the "Velkomstsenter".
You must show a valid student ID to receive the discount.
Bring your keycard if you already have one to avoid paying for a new one. (NOK 75)

Everyone must have a keycard

All guests, regardless of age, must have a personal keycard.

How to activate your keycard:

If you already have a keycard, you can activate it online via our website and go straight to the slopes when you arrive.
If you don't have a keycard, you can add it to your online booking and pick up a pre-activated one at the "Velkomstsenter" upon arrival.
A new keycard costs NOK 75.

Return of used keycard

You will receive a refund of NOK 35 for a used keycard when you return it to the "Velkomstsenter".

Practical info about use:

Place the keycard on the left side of your jacket/pants.
Never place the keycard in the same pocket as other cards, your phone, or other keycards.
Your ski pass is personal, except for point passes, which can be used by several people.
