HovdenTour 2025!

HovdenTour 2025 will be held on April 5th. Since Easter next year does not start until April 17th, HovdenTour will take place a bit later than usual. The organizing clubs, Bykle IL and Hovden Sportsklubb, will also be hosting the Norwegian Cross-Country Skiing Championships next year, with the entire Norwegian elite expected to be in Hovden the weekend before HovdenTour, from March 27th to 30th. This means the organizers will have busy days with such large events two weekends in a row.

Hovden is known for having a lot of snow, so typically there is plenty of snow throughout April. The weather in April can be fantastic, and so can the skiing conditions. Everyone is hoping for the best HovdenTour ever! In 2024, there was an increase in participants, with 1,542 registered for HovdenTour. Could there be over 2,000 participants in 2025?

The HovdenTour course runs through high mountain terrain, and parts of the trail are only groomed in connection with HovdenTour.

Registration for HovdenTour opens on September 28th.
